Grilled Pizza

Hang up that phone! Before you call for delivery pizza, check out this quick, tasty trick to make pizza on your grill.

Grilled Pizza

Ingredients:
-Pre-made pizza dough
– Grandma’s secret sauce recipe (store bought is fine, too and saves you time!)
– Cheese and toppings of your choosing

Pre-heat grill to 350° degrees. (Medium heat)

Using a rolling pin and flour, roll out dough until it is 1/2″ thick.

Be sure to poke holes in the dough with a fork to prevent air bubbles from forming while cooking.

Spray the grates of the grill with a cooking spray.

Place the dough directly on the grates of the grill and cook 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

Flip the dough using a pizza peel.

Spread the sauce in a thin, even layer, then finish off with cheese and toppings. (Too much sauce will cause the pizza to become soggy).

Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
Remove the pizza from the grill with the pizza peel.

Let cool, slice, and enjoy!
