– 1 package of pre-made pizza crust
– Shredded mozzarella cheese
– Pepperoni slices
– Pizza sauce
– 1 egg
Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F.
Step 2: Roll out the pizza crust. You may need to use flour so the dough will not stick to the surface.
Step 3: Using a circular cookie cutter (we used a canning jar band), cut out circles of the dough. Cut the circles into a football shape. See below.
Re-roll the scraps of dough and repeat steps 2 and 3 to cut out as many as you can.
Step 4: Brush egg wash around the edges of the dough football shape.
Step 5: On a cutout, place 2 slices of pepperoni, a pinch of shredded cheese, and a spoonful of pizza sauce.
Step 6: Place another football cutout on top and use a fork to crimp the edges together.
Step 7: Egg wash the tops of each pizza pocket.
Step 8: Place shreds of mozzarella cheese to resemble football laces on top of the pizza pocket.
Step 9: Bake in oven at 425°F for 10-12 minutes.
Step 10: Enjoy!
